This stunning bowl is 8 inches across the top, 4 inches deep and rests on 3 peg style feet. Large wheel cut daisies and panels of cane with buttons make this bowl sparkle and glimmer in the sunlight. This glass is known as pressed and cut. It was pressed with a part of the pattern on the glass and then later the daisies were cut using a cutting wheel.
The Innovation pattern was made by McKee Glass between 1916-1920. There are several variations of the pattern. The bowl has a sawtooth rim. This version features 3 large closed-center wheel cut daisies separated by 3 v-shaped panels of cane with buttons offset by deep miters.
This glass is thick and heavy. It is very clear and the pattern catches and reflects the light beautifully. There are no chips or cracks.
