This delightful Otagiri music box was made in Japan between 1970-1990. It is ceramic porcelain and has a high gloss glaze. An adorable brown teddy bear is the engineer of engine 475, a dark blue with gold accents locomotive with a smoke stack. The music box is 5 x 2.25 x 3.5 inches. There is an on/off switch on the bottom. The music box plays "I'm sitting on top of the world." The name of the tune, the original "handpainted, Japan" and two price tags are on the bottom the music box. As a bonus, the original Otagiri tag on a gold string comes with the music box. This music box is in excellent condition. There is not even a speck of dust on it. I understand this came from a railroad man's estate.
