This double handled open sugar bowl was made by Cambridge Glass in the Mount Vernon pattern between 1930-1934. The Mount Vernon pattern is a diamond point style. The glass glows green when black light tested. The handles have a pressed diamond fan design. The Cambridge pattern has a clear band with 3 rings separating the diamond pattern from the top of the bowl. The ring pattern is repeated on the inside of the bowl just above the stemmed base. The base is square and the bowl is footed. The bowl is 3.5 inches tall and 4.25 inches across. The glass is very clear and has no cloudiness. There are no chips or cracks. Although this was designed to be a sugar bowl, it is quite versatile as a condiment bowl.
