Elegant and beautiful are two of the best words I can think to use to describe these vintage tulip-shaped glasses made by Fostoria. The glasses are 7 inches tall and 3 inches across the opening. The goblets are offered as a set of 6. Each glass is in very good condition.
Fostoria made the Orient pattern between 1922-1928. The stemware is hand decorated, blown crystal glass. This is not your everyday crystal stemware. The goblets have a straight narrow stem. The optical bowl has a tulip shape. The Orient pattern features white with gray etching and includes stars, stippling, scrolls, and a laurel drape.
These glasses do not have any chips, cracks or dings or water spots although they were made in the 1920s when glassware by Fostoria and other premier companies were still hand finishing crystal. The glasses have a bell tone ring which is a sign of quality crystal. This pattern is still available through some replacement services so you can add more glasses to your set if you want.
