SPECTACULAR Modernist TAXCO 151g ~ "Two Trees" Necklace

A handsome and contemporary blend of a curved solid half collar of sleek sterling silver combined with a flexible woven side of woven links of silver.

Very heavy at 151 grams, the hallmarks are two trees, "TS-79", .925 and MEXICO as seen in the photo.

These are the registration marks "TS-79, TWO TREES" as shown on page 268 of Bille Hougart's highly respected source book, The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks (2006 edition)

This was created to sit right at the base of the neck at exactly 16 inches closed.

At the widest point in front where the two segments connect, it measures 1.5 inches wide and slowly graduates to the back a just 1/2 inch. The heavy and sturdy plunge clasp slides easily into place for a very secure, comfortable fit.
