Antique Sterling Silver and Glass Vanity Jar

Samuel Summers Drew founded his company in 1844. First entered a silver mark in 1887 in London. In 1900 Samuel Summers Drew and Ernest Drew were listed as gold and silver workers. In 1914 Samuel retired or died.

This wonderful vanity jar has 12 glass panels with a sterling silver rim. There are a few dings on the sterling silver dome shape lid but I don't think my photos were able to pick them up. They are not that noticeable but did want to bring them to your attention.

The measurements are 3 5/8 inches including the lid by 1 3/4 inches diameter. It still has talc residue.

This jar could have many uses and look lovely on your vanity.
