Borghese Four Seasons Figurine Set.
A set of 4 Borghese "Four Seasons" figurines, ca. 1950's. The figurines are plaster composite in black with a faint gold wash on gold painted wooden bases. Each figurine depicts a young boy or girl with flowers and/or fruit representing each of the four seasons of the year. Each figurine stands approximately 8 1/2 inches tall on a 3 1/2 x 3 inch base. Each bears the Borghese red and white paper label on a black felt bottom. The set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other damage.
