A Challinor, Taylor Hen on Braided Weave Basket milk glass covered dish, ca. 1895-1910. The dish stands approximately 4 3/4 inches at the tail. The base measures 5 1/2 inches long and 4 inches wide. The hen is in excellent condition with its original ruby glass eyes and no cracks, chips, or other damage.
