Glamorous Nolan Miller Crystal Encrusted Cockleshell Necklace
Nolan Miller founded and was President of the Nolan Miller Couture in Beverly Hills, CA in 1957 designing costumes and jewelry for famous film stars including Natalie Wood, Joan Crawford, Lucile Ball, Jaclyn Smith, Linda Evans and Elizabeth Taylor.
His signature style emerged in the 1980's for the Dynasty Show on TV, where Miller designed the dresses and jewelry worn by Joan Collins and Linda Evans. In the 1990's, after the Dynasty Show was cancelled, Nolan became a private couturier designing for other movies up through 2002 (Hotel, Hollywood Wives, Love Boat, Titans, and Charlie's Angels). Miller's lavish use of stones, pearls and crystals were his trademark. His jewelry designs contain Austrian rhinestones and crystals, faux colored pearls, real precious stones and simulated colored stones with gold plated and silver plated metal bases.
