This striking vintage dog collar necklace features a black velvet band adorned with a gold tone rose medallion and shimmering rhinestone. It is in very good to excellent condition, and is made by Celebrity, a company that manufactured finer costume jewelry from the 1950s through the 1970s in New York City. Celebrity used higher quality rhinestones that were usually handset in frames of silver, gold, and rhodium plate metalwork. This collar is stamped in two places with the Celebrity mark. It measures 10 ½" in length, with the center medallion measuring 7/8" X 1". It has a 6" extender that allows you to tailor the collar to your size. This collar will add style to a white blouse and jeans as equally as it will turn heads when accessorizing an elegant evening gown. A dramatic piece for your vintage jewelry collection!
