c1896 Victorian Sterling Silver Large Shield Pendant

A beautiful piece of Victorian history. Originally intended as a watch fob, but would make an interesting pendant today. Dimensions: 1 3/4" long, 1 1/8" across. Full Birmingham hallmarks: lion passant, anchor and "W" (1896); Kp BROs (Kemp Brothers, Birmingham silversmiths 1896-1909). Weight: 10.3 grams. Condition: VERY GOOD antique condition. Some of the edges are a little "soft" but the design is clear, as is the inscription: "M.P. to H.G.P." Could use a good clean, which I'll leave to the new owner.
