Small Continental Cranberry Glass Covered Mini Stein

The base of this stein is cased cranberry glass and the lid is cranberry stained. The stein has had its fittings repaired and may be a marriage of two different units. The pewter knob has been resoldered and the attachment to the handle has been filled in with glue of some sort - both of these repairs are vintage. A scratch to the cranberry stain on the lid has also been filled in. The glass itself is undamaged, bright and clear with no staining. The stein measures 4 ½ inches tall and 4 ¼ inches at its widest point. The base in ground flat and polished, the rim is ground, beveled and polished.
