Czechoslovakian Maiden Ruby Stained Glass Syrup Pitcher

This item has been identified as having been made by Kanawha in the 40s or 50s, a time when Colonial styled items where popular! According to legend not many where made in ruby stain and several examples have ended up in collector guides wrongly identified as having been made in Czechoslovakia. I personally am not convinced either way – I have seen many Kanawha pitchers over the years but none have a rim lip like these pitchers do. The ones I know to be Kanawha are much thicker glass, especially at the rim. Anyhow... this pitcher measures 7 inches tall, ones positively identified as Kanawha measure about 6 and ¼ inches tall. No matter who made her – she is the most controversial item of glass I have owned.
