~ A Late 19th Century Royal Worcester Porcelain Jug No. 1227 ~

This beautiful jug is of ovoid shape with a scroll handle. The ivory ground is decorated in hand painted clematis floral motifs with gilt highlights.

The jug is stamped to base with the crowned mark, Rd No 74150 and No. 1227. It dates back to the late 19th century.

~ Dimensions ~

The jug is 10 inches (25.5cm) high with the body diameter of 6.5 inches (16.5cm). It weights 816 grams.

~ Condition ~

The condition of the jug is very good for its age with no cracks or chips, only the gilding is slightly worn (mainly to the handle).
