~ Garfish By Jambalula - Aboriginal Australia Art c1950 ~
A fine example of Aborigine art. This particular piece is of a Garfish, painted by Jambalula (1908-60), an Australian Aborigine of the Iwaidji tribe.
The piece has been made using natural earth pigments and painted on a eucalyptus bark.
It was initially acquired by an English gentleman from Australia in the early 1950's.

The piece has a length of 20 inches (50.25cm) and a height of 4.5 inches (11.5cm).
~ Condition ~
The piece remains in excellent condition. The colours are still vibrant.
