Sharp Crisp Early 1/2 Plate exceptional DAG of wealthy young man MOP Bijou case
impressive 1/2 Plate Daguerreotype of a dapper Young Man who is well dressed and probably very wealthy. The image comes in a hand painted Mother of Pearl & Paper Mache BIJOU case and has gilt sides. This piece was recently found in a home library shelf and explains its exceptional condition. Dag alone measures 5.5" x 4.25" not including the fancy outer Case. This image still has its ORIGINAL seal. The image itself is excellent. Please see photos below and please disregard any reflection, dust or glare that is from my scanner screen. This image is much nicer in person than it appears here. The hand painted Mother of Pearl and paper mache case is excellent and shows only minor wear. Please email any questions.
