Wedgwood, Biscuit Jar With Silver Plated Hinged Lid, Cobalt Blue

Here we have a beautiful Wedgwood Biscuit Jar with liver plated hinged lid, manufactured 1898-1906, marked on bottom with an I or F, stamped Wedgwood, also stamped England. Embossed Greek Mythology pattern. As shown in pictures when made, the lid was never puttied to the jar. A small chip on the bottom edge as shown in picture 34 & 37. Measures 7 1/2" to top of lid, 5 3/8" wide at top, 5" base. Excellent condition, age appropriate wear only.Lid has great patina and pattern. No other chips, no cracks or repairs.
