For your consideration is this antique Meissen figurine of a woman with her children. One has a book with his studies and the other is trying for her attention. It was made by Meissen circa 1820 - 1840 possibly a bit earlier. This is a 1st quality piece. It has the blue crossed swords under the glaze. It has an impressed 86 and an incised J65 and a red 89. This is a large figurine at 11" tall and 7" wide and 5" deep. It is in excellent condition with just a few minor flaws. There is a feather missing on the womans head and 2 petals missing on a flower at the feet. Superb large Meissen group. It weigh almost 6 pounds.
