Vintage Spanish Damascene Ship FIgural Pin Brooch

You can sense the adventure when you look at this lovely brooch. Wind in the sails, and the high seas are calling. Even if the open water doesn't call to you, you can certainly appreciate the look. Done in the classic Damascene style, this brooch features a small seagoing vessel with a dragon on it's prow and four separate sails catching the wind. Amazing details and very well made. Signed SPAIN on the backing.

TIME PERIOD: circa 1950's

CONDITION: Very good with little wear. The pin bar and clasp are in good shape, the clasp is a little loose but still secure.

SIZE: Measures approx. 1 1/2" by 1 1/2"
