Very couture 1990's BULATTI goldtone & stone PIN

A fabulous authentic brooch by BULATTI. Build with gilded brass all textured and ornate with huge square pearlized orange resin cabochon. Very nice quality, top design couture piece. Signed by famous Dutch Jewel Creator BULATTI, "Bulatti" engraved at the back. In excellent vintage condition, no scratch, no oxidation. Security closing clasp in perfect working condition.

About the designer : Bulatti is a beautiful collection of costume jewelry that is design and manufacture in Holland.

Over the last 27 years, Bulatti has become a well-established brand in Holland & the United Kingdom and the name is synonymous of wear-ability, quality and style.

The jewelry is truly unique. The designers Maurice Tiggeler & Mart Krijger travel all over the world collecting & sourcing unusual materials and components to create pieces of jewelry that are beautiful to wear and to be seen wearing. All the jewelry is manufacture by a small team of skilled workers in the workshop in Obdam, The Netherlands.

Mart and Maurice are able to free their creativity by using beautiful crystals and pearls from Swarovski®, shell pieces from The Philippines, pearls from Majorca, handmade glass beads from Czechoslovakia, ceramic beads from Greece and numerous other materials which they carefully combine to create possibly one of the most collectible ranges of costume jewelry in Europe.

Inspiration comes from life itself. They may observe the trends from the catwalks, look at the colour pallets of the season but these are not what inspire them. Bulatti has its own style and look, they lead and not follow and each piece is marked with the Bulatti Logo to ensure its authenticity.

Once the designers have initiated a new piece of jewelry it is passed on to the team of Accessa to hand produce the finished item. The base metal used is brass or tombak* and each piece is available in the two distinguishable finishes bronze & old silver (plated) that have been developed by Accessa.

From time to time and when the design requires they may also be finished in gold plate or highly polished silver plating.

Stones are set by hand, quality checks are made at every stage to ensure that the finished piece will be worn and admired for many years.

* Tombac, as it is spelled in French, or Tombak, is a brass alloy with high copper content and 5-20% zinc content. Tin or lead can be added for coloration. It is a malleable alloy mainly used for medals, ornament or jewelry.
