REED & BARTON Four Dinner Forks Silverplate Pat. Mar. 30 1869

Here we offer four substantial Reed & Barton silverplate dinner forks in a plain fiddle pattern, manufactured by Reed & Barton sometime circa late 1860s to1890s. Each fork weighs approximately 1.5 ounces and measures 7¼" in length. The maker's mark "REED & BARTON" and "8" are stamped on the handle verso. On the stem verso is stamped "PAT.MAR.30.1869." They are monogrammed on the terminals. These are in lovely vintage condition with no discernible plate loss and very few use marks, commensurate with their age.
