Shenango LITTLE BO PEEP Restaurant Nursery Ware Plate 1953
Here we have a charming Shenango China `Little Bo Peep" restaurant nursery ware plate. The central motif of Little Bo Peep and her sheep is clear and crisp. Around the edge are images of children's toys, and the plate is edged with a thin red line. This is a lovely vintage piece of restaurant ware for children, measuring 8⅛" across and weighing 1 lb, 1.6 oz. The older Shenango backstamp and the date code of "P-11" indicate manufacture of this piece to Jan-Jun, 1953. A few very minor utensil marks are present and barely visible. This child' plate is in excellent condition.
