Here we have a fine Sheffield sterling spoon made by Cooper Brothers & Sons in 1930. It is fully hallmarked "C B & S" in a shield, Crown mark for Sheffield, Lion passant, and Date letter "n" for 1930. The spoon has an oval-end drop handle with a cypher on the terminal possibly initials "BHC" or "BMC". Weight: 1.2 ounces (32 grams); length: 6 inches. This piece had some very minimal use marks to the bowl and handle which show that it has been in service. It has a substantial feel to it and is in lovely condition.
