Portland Pottery RAILWAY Demitasse Cup and Saucer

We offer three items in the "Railway" pattern in two separate listings. This listing is for the demitasse cup and saucer. These transferware pieces were manufactured by Portland Pottery of Cobridge, England, an earthenware manufacturer in Stoke-on-Trent, from 1946 to 1953. Each item bears the clear backstamp "Railway Made in England for P.V." The saucer also shows a partial backstamp for "Portland Pottery Ltd, Regal Works, Cobridge Made in England "B". The cup and saucer are in fine condition with no breaks or chips. The cup has a tiny rough spot on the inside of the rim. The cup weighs 2.5 ounces and stands 2-3/8 inches. The saucer is 4-3/4 inches in diameter and weighs 2.7 ounces.

The final photograph shows the three "Railway" items in one grouping. Please see our other listing for the butter pat. We are happy to combine shipping should you purchase all three pieces.
