Set of 3 Large French Dinner Knives KENDALL-TOURON blades
We offer three large, heavy French dinner knives with "KENDALL-TOURON" and "17 Rue De La Paix PARIS" stamped into each blade. The maker's marks and/or assay marks are present but illegible, except for the letters "A P" at the base of the mark. This would be consistent with a Paris mark from the mid-1700s onward. Each measures 10-1/8 inches and weighs 3.5 to 3.6 ounces, for a total of 10.6 ounces. The knives have a lovely heft and balance in the hand. The handle bears a delicate "W" monogram. These handsome knives are in fine vintage condition with some wear and a bit of tarnish which I will leave in place so as to preserve the patina. If you can identify the maker, please let us know!
