We offer two J & G Meakin Hotel Butter Pats from c.1912-1939. They are white stoneware with a blue rim stripe and a lovely art deco swirl of blue flowers and leaves. The pieces both have the stamped mark for J & G Meakin, Hanley, England, which includes a crown over the three-part banner. Also stamped are "Furnished by Albert Pick & Company Chicago" and the word "Weber" above the crown. Both pieces have an impressed mark "HOTEL".
These are old vintage pieces of hotel ware and the condition is commensurate with age and use. Some crazing, utensil marks and a few lines are present. There are no breaks or chips, however. Please examine the photographs for a closer look.
