We offer a handsome pitcher or jug depicting the Great Seal of the United States on front and back with a wide black, red and yellow decorative border around the rim. The eagle holds the "E Pluribus Unum" banner in its beak. This lovely piece is stamped "Adams Tunstall England Estd 1857" with Crown mark in stamp. Impressed on the base are "ADAMS TUNSTALL", "36", and the letter "K". The backstamp indicates manufacture in early- to mid-20th century, from approximately 1914-1940. The piece is in very good condition overall, with one minute flake on the underside of the spout. It measures 4" in height and 2-5/8" in diameter at the rim and 2-1/2" at the base. Brimful, it holds 12 ounces.
