Newman Ceramic Works Three Pottery Tulip Goblets Retired

These three striking tulip pottery goblets, each with an iridescent glass stem and pottery bowl and base, were made by Newman Ceramic Works in their Albuquerque studio. The maker's mark dates them between 1978 and 1984, before the studio relocated to Salem, Oregon. This is one of their older retired patterns, each signed by the artist. The botanical and sculptural bowl and foot show the flowing matte microcrystalline glaze which the Newmans developed. Rosy pinks, cream and green grace this functional art pottery. One interior bowl shows a small dark area under the glaze, as pictured. Each measures 7" in height and all three goblets are in excellent condition.
