Antique William HUTTON Stuffing Spoon circa 1830s

This very early Sheffield silverplated stuffing spoon is marked for William Hutton (1774-1842) and for the retailer, Samuel Lewis. The triangle mark was Hutton's original mark for his Old Sheffield plated pieces. Very substantial and utilitarian, the spoon measures 12½" and weighs 4.6 ounces (128 grams.) The past photo shows the stuffing spoon alongside a teaspoon, for comparison.
