These two very large antique coin silver serving spoons in Fiddle Shell pattern were made in mid-1800s. This elegant matching pair of serving pieces with shoulders and drop each bear a rectangular intaglio mark "T&S" for an unknown maker on the plain handle back. The bowl is also plain with a slightly pointed tip. The handles are monogrammed with an old flowing script cypher. Each spoon weighs 46 grams (1.6 ounces) for a total weight of 92 grams (3.3 ounces.) They each measure 9" in length. One bowl shows a few tiny pinpoint indentations to the back; they are otherwise in excellent condition.
