1940s-1950s Vintage Apron, Multi Colored Floral Chintz

Wonderful old hand sewn mid-century vintage apron. It is made with cotton chintz: pink background with blue, gray, dark cherry & white flowers, with a pink waistband pointed in the center & wide pink ties. The pink pocket is edged with chintz but the scallop top folds over to reveal a contrasting pink lining. It has been used & you can see some faint stains on the waistband, ties and pockets (see photos). There are also 2 stains the chintz but they are hard to see harder to photograph. There is a tiny hole (see photo) near the top inside edge of the pocket. It has been mended along the top corners of the pocket (see photo).

This is an apron which could be worn by today's average woman - it fits my mannequin well & her waist measures 34 1/2". Obviously, it could fit a much smaller waist also. The waistband measures 17 1/2", the ties each measure 27 3/4". It is about 21 1/2" long & the bottom edge measures 36 1/2". The pocket measures 8 1/2" x 7 1/2". The inside is sewn so no frayed edges show.

This item is vintage, not new. Please look closely at the photos I have provided & feel free to contact me with any questions.

Thanks for looking!
