Four Whaling Etchings by Jack Coughlin

Nice set of 4 etchings by American artist Jack Coughlin (b.1932). These were done for the New Bedford (MA) Whaling Museum. They are titled: "the Sighting", "Boats Away", "Going on the Whale" and "Nantucket Sleigh Ride". They are faced with acrylic sheeting (plexi-glass), show no mat burn, and almost no foxing at all. The paper is still bright and clean. They are in their original frames and have not been opened. The frames are very good with just a few losses to the gilding.

Outside measurements are 21 x 26. The images are 14 x 18 1/2 (sight). Mr. Coughlin pencil signed each one of these limited editions.
