Pair Rogers Silverplate Ornate Candlesticks marked 1901. Ornate design features early male figures in various poses smoking pipes and women in vintage Dutch type style dresses carrying baskets in various poses. The top of the candlesticks appear to be a copper compound. The candlesticks stand 11" high with a base that is 6 sided and 4 1/2" wide. These candlesticks have oxidized beautifully and I have chosen not to polish. Purchasers choice to do so. The pair are in excellent condition - no dings or other damage. Ornate detail is very clear and clean. Extremely attractive. Very heavy - unpackaged weight is 4 lb 8 oz.

Rogers Brothers Silver dates back to the early 19th century. The brothers were known for the high quality of their Rogers candlesticks and when they felt they had perfected the electroplating process in 1847 they marked their Rogers candlesticks with their name
