Early Molded Pitcher, Green and Brown Glaze, with Swallowtails and Cattails

Beautiful old milk pitcher, with a marsh of cattails rising from all around the base, with a swallowtail flying on each side. The glaze starts a deep brown at the base and as the design moves up the pitcher turns to a beautiful medium green. The handle is a nice part of the design and has a thumb rest for balance with it full. Significant crazing in and out, as you would expect for its age. No cracks or repairs. One chip on the underside of the base, not visible when pitcher is upright. Pitcher is 6 3/4" tall and 6 1/2" spout to handle.
