Four Vintage 1950's Dinner Plates, Gorgeously Handpainted, Each Different

Set of 4 vintage dinner plates. Each is gorgeously handpainted and signed by Elsie Harris and dated 1953. Ms. Harris was a native of Ashe Co, North Carolina and handpainted china beautifully. Each plate is stamped W. S. Gesry(?) and I assume these were plate blanks that were bought and then handpainted by Ms. Harris. I can find no information on W. S. Gesry.

Each plate is edged in gold and has a fluted edge and are painted in vivid pastels. One is of green and purple grapes with leave and vine tendrils. One is of ripe strawberries and strawberry blossoms. Another is of clustered pinecones on pine branches and the last is of unripe blueberries on bushes. All of the plates have an underlying greenish-yellow tint background tying the group together as a setting for 4.

Each plate measures 10" across. They are all in perfect, never used condition. No chips, cracks, nicks or repairs.

Would make a lovely table. Perfect for a Bed and Breakfast or a Bridge Luncheon.
