Art Nouveau Vase, with Sunflower, Iris and Morning Glory Border
Art Nouveau vase, unsigned, featuring a repeating floral border at the top, alternating with a sunflower, an iris and a morning glory. The colors are a purplish green, rising to dark yellow-gold and pink at the floral border. The stems of each flower are very distinct near the top and flow indistinctly into the body of the vase. The vase reflects the deep yellow-gold on its inside. Very difficult to describe, very dramatic and attractive to see. The vase is 8 1/2" tall, 4" at the top and bottom. There are no chips, cracks, repairs or blemishes. There is crazing, evident on the inside, due to its age. There is no maker's mark, but I feel sure it dates to the 1920's-30's. Great addition to your art nouveau pottery collection.
