Danish Sterling Enamel Spoons, Original Box, Pristine Guilloche, Circa 1960, Espresso Demitasse

Expertly crafted circa 1960, this boxed set of sterling and hand enameled demitasse spoons was made by Meka Silversmith's of Holte. They are pure eye candy and feature impeccable guilloche and a lovely enamel design unlike ones I have previously seen. Scandinavian silversmiths are famous for their nature inspired sterling art. The pretty shape of each demitasse spoon allows for more enamel than similar ones of this type. It makes them an especially bright and colorful set. Each is done in pristine gold vermeil, measures 4" long, weighs approximately 11 grams and is marked "Meka Sterling Denmark" on back. They weigh a combined 65.5 grams. The set has been lightly hand polished to reveal the artistic detail, skillful craftsmanship and exceptional condition of the sterling. They would be a welcome addition to any silver collection or a cherished gift for someone special.
