This handsome vintage solid silver bookmark was expertly crafted in Portugal and features a puffy galleon done in relief. It measures 4 inches and weighs 10 grams of solid 833 silver. It has the eagle hallmark at the top under the word Portugal. The ship motif is exceptional and the detail is not as clear in the photos as it is actually visible on the bookmark. In person you can see the crosses on the sails that make it look more like a ship Columbus would have sailed on. It would make a marvelous gift or a cherished addition to a silver collection. The piece has been lightly hand polished to reveal the delicate artistic detail and excellent condition of the silver.
