Incredibly Rare Unger Brothers Roman Alloy Sash Buckle Sterling

Today I am offering one of two Unger Brothers Roman Alloy items I have ever seen. It hand chased and is in great condition. There is surface wear across the front of the buckle. It is clearly stamped "ROMAN ALLOY" along with the Unger Brothers hallmark. It measures 4 1/2 inches wide and stands 2 3/4 inches high.

I have only come across two Unger Brothers Roman Alloy items and one William Kerr Roman Alloy buckle. It is a type of base metal that has been gilded.
