ABC Early Victorian Transfer Child's Plate, "Harry Baiting"

For your consideration, an early Victorian Staffordshire Transferware Child's Plate, "Harry Baiting is His Line For To Fish He Doth Incline", c. 1840. The transfer shows Harry baiting his fishing rod, in a crisp black transfer with hand painted poly-chrome accents. The full alphabet makes up the border with a saw tooth rim. Measuring 6″. An uneven rear rim, in the making. There is an overall fine crazing, as can be expected, otherwise excellent. Unmarked.
