The Hinge Has A Little Play In It (Shown In Last Photo), But It Does Not Open When Worn. It Measures 2 1/2" x 2" From The Inside And Is 1 " Wide. The Orange Bakelite Piece Is 1/4" Thick While The Carved Front Piece Is 1/2" Thick.
