Vintage Indiana Glass Whitehall Footed Sherbet Glasses in Dark Blue - Set of 4
This 1960s / 1970s Whitehall Pattern is interesting, to say the least. A considerable amount of research has led me back to the 1920s (when this color was made in the "cube" pattern and in this particular blue color but without the octagon stem) and then forward to the 1950's when Colony/Indiana made the pattern with the octagon but not in this blue! Possibly, a color was left off of the list of 1950s/1960s colors...or possibly this was made earlier than I have suggested. In my opinion, they do have a later (1960s) look to them.
The blue color is very pretty and true to the pics.
6 ounces, 3 3/8" tall, 3 1/2" in diameter at mouth.
Excellent Condition in every way!
