Delightful Vintage Easter Postcard from Gibson Art Company, Cincinnati OH

This delightful postcard depicts the beautiful signs of spring as 2 colorful blue birds make a nest among the newly budded blossoms. What a wonderful addition to your vintage postcard collection! The postcard is in good condition with no rips or tears. It is used, however, not mailed, and has writing on the back along with a small stain. The Gibson Art Company incorporated in 1895 and changed it's name to Gibson Greetings in 1960. The postcard has a place for a one cent stamp. One cent postage was in effect from 1872 to 1917, raised to two cents from 1917 to 1919 to support World War I, and then back to one cent from 1919 to 1952.The postcard is the standard size of 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". Your postcard will arrive in a protective cellophane envelope.
