Vintage Lefton Planter Sleeping Baby Made in Japan

Offered here at Wildflowers is a wonderful old ceramic planter in the form of a darling little baby boy who has fallen asleep in his chair. Baby boy has blond hair, an angel face, blue jammies and a pacifier in his little hand. The sleeping baby's chair is molded to the square planter area at the back of the piece. This cute planter measures about 7 1/4" long, 6" high and about 4 1/2" wide. It is in excellent condition with the tiny exception of a vary small, pinhead-size (I almost missed it) paint flake on the baby's pacifier. The sides of the baby's chair is decorated with floating pale pink flowers with greenery. On the bottom of the piece is the original Lefton sticker that includes the following:"Lefton's RECUSPATOFF EXCLUSIVES JAPAN". This vintage planter is a lovely piece for a nursery--for a plant or for storing little baby accessories in a novel way.
