This is a beautiful brooch with five beautifully facetted Garnets which have a deep wine red colour.The Garnet in the center is surrounded by a row of cultured pearls. All the gems are cushion set and set in a fine crafted gilded silver ( hallmarked 925) mounting. The brooch is dated at the 10th century. Diameter: 1.2"(30mm)
