Art Nouveau silver and fourteen karat white gold necklace depicting two peacocks

This is an extraordinary Art Nouveau necklace. In the center there are two peacocks. They are adorned with brilliant cut and claw set glass stones , a little Ruby and two Sapphires.The bottom is adorned with cultured pearls. The stones are set in a silver mounting (acid tested). The mounting is composed of two layers. The layer on the back side is made of fourteen karat yellow gold (acid tested). The peacocks are fixed on a beauitful and fine crafted silver chain. The item is hand made and in excellent condition. Three of the cultured pearls are missing. The necklace is dated at the turn of the 19th century.
