Rectangular Roman Micro Mosaic brooch depicting a colourful bunch of flowers. The Micro Mosaic is very fine crafted and has sand sized tesserae which are smooth to the touch. They are in perfect condition there is no damage of any kind. The Micro Mosaic is set in a eighteen karat (acid tested) yellow gold mounting with beautiful c-scroll adornment.The brooch is in perfect condition and dated at the 19th century.
