Ruby Stained Souvenir - 1897
Offered here is a ruby stained souvenir that is from Mackinaw Island, Michigan. It is to Audie from a friend and is dated Sept. 5, 1897. I am not sure what this would have been used for. It measures 3 3/4 inches tall and 2 7/8 inches across. There are no chips or cracks. There is a bit of scratching of the ruby stain consistent with the age of the piece. Pieces like this were common souvenirs back in the late 1800's. Thanks for looking.
