Two Pieces Spode "New Fayence"- 1820 - 1833
Here we are offering the last of the Spode New Fayence. The first piece is a dessert plate that measures 8 1/4 inches not including the tab handle. This piece is marked with the Spode impressed mark and the New Fayence backstamp. This mark was used from 1820 thru 1833. There is some crazing and slight discoloration to the front. This is consistent with it's almost 200 years of age. The pattern is transferware. The second piece is a plate that measures 8 1/4 inches. It is marked the same as the dessert plate and is in the same condition. Please check photos for more detail. There are no chips or cracks in either piece. Thanks for looking!
