Large Victorian Era Ladies Hatpin - Very Nice

Offered here we have an antique ladies hatpin that is oversized to say the least. This hatpin has a long shank which alone measures almost 9 inches. The decorative goldtone, which is quite ornate, is two inches. On the head of the pin are prong set rhinestones that measure 1 3/8 inches across. Overall length is 10 3/4 inches. There are no missing rhinestones or condition issues other than a slight bend on the shaft where it has been used. You don't find hatpins like this often. A lot of the times, they put different heads on the longer shanks as they are more valuable. That is not the case here! This is the largest hatpin I have ever seen and it is at least turn of the century if not earlier. As usual, thanks for looking!
